Faygar C.Reyes ( Born May 19, 1976, in Zamboanga City, Philippines) is a Fashion Designer in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. He works for the established Fashion house of Tawakeya, known for bridal, custom and ready- to -wear and haute couture ensembles. Fay started his mentorship with a Fashion industry leader, The Dean of the Philippine Fashion Ben Farrales. Eventually, he was employed and became the Designer for the bridal and couture line of the label. In 2001, he started working with Emparatura Fashion, a bridal couture shop in Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, he joined the Famous Lebanese Designer Akl Fakih in Dubai.
His journey as a Fashion Designer wasn’t easy. Like every masterpiece, the details were intricate and bold. His passion for learning new techniques in draping, pattern-making, embroidery, fabrication and the business of fashion were endless. He believes that Fashion is always moving forward, a new adventure and a new discovery. That for him is the secret of achieving the “ very triumphant look “ in his every creation.
Faygar has been in the fashion field for more than two decades now, definitely utilizing all his knowledge and experiences to the fullest. Through these worthwhile, and changing times in the fashion world, he has maximized his full concept about fashion, incorporating knowledge, aesthetics, craftsmanship, and the business aspect of what it takes to make it in the fashion world. Truly, he has defined Fashion in the most standardized ways, but more essentially, not to merely confine fashion just as it is, but to be flexible, clever, limitless, consistently fearless in incorporating all these essential elements, in keeping up with the ever challenging, ever-evolving fashion world. Personally, he believes that the wisdom he has acquainted will lead to his success story, in maintaining a good name and leaving a remarkable trademark in his passion.
He acknowledges God as the Greatest Designer and his all-time inspiration. He affirms that every day, every collection and every client is always a blessing. A big part of his designing process is a tribute, a homage to the Amazing Creator!
