Philippines – Glenn Malaga is a Filipino photographer, an overseas Filipino worker based in Riyadh KSA. He described himself as down to earth, humble, always aims for self-improvement, choosy but can be very loyal. He is an artist whom you always find looking at the world, wondering how it would look like if captured in photos. He do it most of the time. He is very passionate about photography.

The unique about Glenn in photography is that, in choosing, especially, the theme and the model’s attire (for a photo shoot) or the model’s fashion ensemble on a ramp show, He make it a point to consider the model’s personality and physical built. This is very important. When the model is comfortable with the style, bringing out the best expression will just follow. Photography, fashion design and styling.

“My passion is in arts, obviously. I want to explore more about fashion, photography and arts, generally. My greatest aspiration in life is to be a successful photographer with a studio of my own. To be able to bring out the best version of the models’ persona thru my artistry and camera lens. And be able to travel and take photos of people and their culture.” Glenn stated when we asked him about how he started his passion. Glenn inspiration addressed to his Family which most of the artist  built their career with strong foundation and dedication for family.

Here are some interviews we made for Glenn Malaga to inspire young photographers and aspiring one:

MC: We all make mistakes Artist, we wish we could turn back the time. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

Glenn: Not to have taken my skills for granted. I should have explored more creative possibilities when I was younger giving myself greater heights to have reached.

MC: How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients such as Photographer, HMUA, Designer etc.?

Glenn: Being professional. Professionalism is the key to have better relationships with people that surround you. Listening to what the client wants.

MC: Give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.

Glenn: Actually, I am not really that kind of person who persuades someone to see my work. When I post my works in social media, I get lucky when people notice them and send me private messages saying that my photos inspired them.

MC: How about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer?

Glenn: Thru my photos, I was able to establish good relations with famous celebrities like Rocky Gathercole (World-famous Designer) and Chris Daymon (Writer and a member of Michael Cinco’s Glam team), won the best photo of PAL’s (Philippine Airlines) photo contest and was able to launch aspiring model’s on social media.

MC: Glenn, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

Glenn: As an artist, I am kinda moody. Most of the time, my creative juices are at its peak, when I am pressured or if I am near my deadline.

MC: How it takes to be called Glenn Malaga or the known TOTOGRAPHY?Glenn: Just be yourself. Learn everyday by reading blogs, watching Vlogs in Youtube. Listen to people who are not afraid to tell you what’s wrong with your photos.

Glenn express a piece of advice to dreamers and aspiring photographer to have constant learning and be patient.
